About my handmade business

I am a stay-at-home mum running a handmade business out of my lounge in Barnet, North London. I spent 10 years working as a nurse before, in 2013, a brain tumour came along and complicated life. Thankfully I recovered well from surgery thanks to our amazing NHS but going back to nursing just isn't an option for me. 

Ruth's Sewing Studio was created in March 2022 to let me share my love of fabrics and sewing. My children and pet dog often inspire my creations as well as my love of nature and colour.
